Amanda Bernard
Hey there, just a little something to get to know me... I was born in VA and raised here in MD. I have always loved animals as long as I can remember! I started off my animal services career in 2004 when I worked for a local animal shelter. I found out quickly that I had much more interest in veterinary medicine and started working as a emergency veterinary tech in 2005. I continue to work as an emergency veterinary nurse part time today. I have a beautiful family that includes my husband Christopher and our 3 children. We live on a small 4 acre homestead. Which is also home to several chickens, Ducks and a few kune kune pigs. I have enjoyed pet sitting through the years and can't wait to meet all of you and your fur babies! I know leaving them while traveling out of town or while at work can be stressful but it doesn't have to be! Click the link at the top of the page and become a client, to set up a meet and greet!
Boarding in our home
Staying at our home is a perfect option. With a fully finished basement apartment your pet will feel right at home! Complete with living room area, tons of dog beds, feeding station, ball pit, tunnel, toy box, puppy pool and so much more. Kennels are available if needed. Our home sits on a 4 acre homestead, which depending on your pets needs means long walks/hikes/exploring. We also now offer a cat boarding room that includes everything your cat needs to be safe and secure while enjoying being boarded! All this while in the care of a experienced veterinary nurse, and her fireman/EMT spouse. This is a luxury one pet family at one time stay so this option needs to be booked in advance.
Pet sitting
We offer in home "Drop ins" (30/60 mins) at your home. This can include walks, feedings, medicating, and lots of TLC! Let us give you peace of mind by dropping in on those precious fur babies!

We understand and that life happens and things don't always go the way we planned. Please keep in mind that we have reserved this time for you and request 7 days notice for cancellations. Less than 7 days notice will result in 50% of all charges due. Less than 3 days notice will result in 100% of all charges due. Unfortunately we are unable to give refunds or credits for last minute changes or early returns.
